Born in California but raised in Texas! Making me a Dodgers fan by birth and an Astros fan at heart! I know it sounds crazy but what’s even crazier is teaching yourself Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premier Pro in the 8th grade because you want to make YouTube videos, which I did! In High School I’d take 3 years of graphic design and 2 years of audio & video production classes before being accepted to The Savannah College of Art and Design, and awarded academic and art achievement scholarships.

However, being far from my home and not knowing the minute nuances of fine art like how to “properly” sharpen a pencil (by knife apparently) and painting with gouache. I admittedly struggled and decided not to return for my Sophomore year. Instead I started working in the restaurant industry and even going so far as heavily contemplating attending culinary school and becoming a chef. Again crazy I know considering I taught myself the Adobe Creative Suite and believe I have a real talent for graphic design. Which is not to say I’m not a really good cook, because I am!

After working my way up to Hourly Supervisor at Torchys Tacos and ordering a very small amount of avocados for a very expensive price. I decided to shift course again and go back to school to pursue my artistic passion and dream of walking down the street, grocery isle, or wherever on Earth and say “Oh hey I made that!”
